Journey
Shortly after the establishment of Smurfs Football Club, the Smurfs Foundation was launched in 2019 with a mission to give back to the community and create meaningful impact beyond football. Our very first initiative began with a clean-up drive in the Margalla Hills, reflecting our belief in building a responsible and caring society.
From there, the foundation continued to grow—distributing warm clothes to underprivileged families during winter and organizing small Sehri and Iftar drives during Ramadan to support those in need.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck and millions of people were affected across the country, Smurfs Foundation stepped forward to play its part. The team worked tirelessly day and night to deliver ration bags directly to families at their doorsteps, successfully supporting over 12,000 individuals during one of the most difficult times in recent history.
Since then, the foundation has continued its journey with even greater purpose—providing football scholarships to deserving academy players, offering educational scholarships to needy students, and hosting annual Sehri and Iftar drives every year.
Today, Smurfs Foundation proudly stands as a symbol of compassion, community service, and the belief that football can be a powerful tool for positive change.

From winter warmth to educational opportunity, every initiative we run is guided by one question: what does this child need right now? Here are the six ways the Smurfs Foundation serves the communities we call home.
Winter Clothing Drive
Every winter, thousands of families struggle to cope with harsh weather conditions. Through our Winter Clothing Drive, the foundation distributes warm clothes to underprivileged communities. With the support of our players, parents, and volunteers, this initiative brings warmth, comfort, and hope to families during the coldest months of the year.
Ramadan Sehri & Iftar Drives
Ramadan has always been a special time for the Smurfs family. Each year, the foundation organizes Sehri and Iftar drives to support families who are unable to afford proper meals during the holy month. These drives are not just about food — they are about sharing blessings, spreading kindness, and teaching our players the value of empathy and gratitude.
COVID-19 Emergency Ration Project
During the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of people across Pakistan faced severe financial hardship. Smurfs Foundation stepped forward to launch one of its largest humanitarian projects. Our team worked tirelessly, day and night, delivering ration bags directly to families at their doorsteps. Through this initiative, more than 12,000 individuals were supported with essential food supplies during one of the most difficult times in recent history. This project became a defining moment in our journey of community service.
Football Scholarships for Deserving Players
We believe talent should never be limited by financial barriers. The Smurfs Foundation provides football scholarships to talented and deserving players who cannot afford academy training. These scholarships give young athletes the opportunity to pursue their dreams, receive professional coaching, and become part of a structured development pathway.
Educational Scholarships Program
Beyond football, education remains one of our top priorities. Through our Educational Scholarships Program, the foundation supports students from underprivileged backgrounds, helping them continue their studies and build a brighter future. We believe true development happens when sports and education go hand in hand.
Annual Community Support Initiatives
Every year, Smurfs Foundation continues to expand its outreach through community support initiatives, charity drives, and volunteer programs. Our goal is simple: to create a positive and lasting impact on society while teaching our players the importance of compassion, responsibility, and giving back.
